Role Overview

We are seeking a Regional Director to lead market access, patient access, and supply chain strategy across the East–Horn of Africa. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role requiring strong execution capability, deep medical expertise, and the ability to work closely with government and healthcare stakeholders.

The Regional Director will play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted access to sight-saving and life-saving biologic medicines across multiple therapeutic areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional market and patient access strategy across specialty biologics
• Ensure robust supply chain execution to maintain uninterrupted patient access
• Drive successful introduction and scale-up of therapies across women's health, ophthalmology, oncology, autoimmune and infectious diseases.
• Build and manage strong relationships with Ministries of Health, regulatory authorities, and thought leaders
• Partner with HCPs, Thought Leaders, medical associations, NGOs, donors, and patient organizations
• Support health system strengthening, clinical education, and patient advocacy initiatives
• Act as a senior scientific ambassador and deliver high-quality scientific presentations

Required Experience & Profile

• Proven experience with Anti-VEGF therapies and monoclonal antibodies
• Strong medical and scientific background
• Excellent scientific presenter with credibility among clinical and policy stakeholders
• Demonstrated success working with Ministries of Health and regulatory bodies
• Strong supply chain leadership experience within biologics or specialty medicines
• Hands-on doer with a strong, proven track record of flawless execution
• Experience across emerging markets in East or Horn of Africa preferred
